Wanted to make sure everyone knew about upcoming events:

This event will provide business-level arguments and strategies for optimizing use of data within the enterprise. Ted Krueger (b | t), Steve Hughes (b | t) and I will be there along with some other local Chicago BI thought leaders in the industry.  Don’t wait, register now!

CodeMastery Chicago on Wednesday 9/12

This event has 2 tracks – one for .NET development and one for Data.  In addition to Ted, Steve and myself we will have Rocky Lhotka (b | t) , James Phillips (t), Anthony Handley (b | t), Corey Miller (b | t), Prasanna Ramkuma (b | t), Sandy Fougerousse (b | t).  That’s an excellent line up if you ask me!  As you can see based on the lineup, this will be a very technical day so come out for a great time! SQLFriends is expanding!

Today SQLFriends announced the first event outside of Chicago-land!  In the comments of my last post Mike Donnelly (blog | @SQLMD) asked if there was interested in expanding.  This was absolutely what was envisioned when I began and it is very exciting!  Mike and I exchanged emails and met up at SQLSaturday #118 in Madison which was also his first SQLSaturday presentation – congrats! If you missed it you can see him at the SQLSaturday #119 in Chicago.

Anyway, he was able to get Hell’s Kitchen (site | @HellsKitchenMN) as the venue and convince SQL Karaoker extraordinaire, Jason Strate (blog | @StrateSQL) to be the guest host!  Way to go Mike!

So if you’re going to be in Minneapolis on June 22, go sign up to hang out with your SQLFriends and Jason, but remember space is limited so Book Now!

Also there are still spots available for the SQLFriends lunch with Jason’s co-author Ted Krueger (blog | @onpnt).  So if you’re in Chicago-land on May 18th and not headed to a SQLSaturday #119 pre-con come out and have lunch with your SQLFriends and Ted – Book Now!
